Is it less expensive to have my furniture re-upholstered than just buy new?
That depends! If your furniture can be replaced very cheaply then it's likely that re-upholstering it will cost more.
However, if your furniture is of a good quality and has many years use left in it, then customers often feel it is worthwhile having it professionally re-upholstered, rather than sending it to landfill!
Can you refill cushions from my chair and sofa?
Yes, we certainly can! We can professionally refill your cushions and we also have considerable experience in converting feather or fibre filled cushions to foam.
Can you re-upholster Period furniture?
This all depends on the particular furniture you have. If the item is small enough for you to bring in then we can advise you. Or alternatively if you have an image or two of the piece, then this will usually enable us to discuss your options.
What is the process of re-upholstery, and can you tell me what is included in the price?
We will explain your options and invite you to choose a fabric. We'll then give you a fixed quotation. We strip off all your old fabric, back to the bare frame.
We then fix any broken springs, replace any worn webbing and fix any problems with the wooden frame.
We then professionally upholster your cherished furniture using high quality wadding and lining and in your chosen fabric.
My dining chairs are looking quite tired, can you help?
Yes, we can re-upholster all types of dining chairs in a massive choice of fabrics. We can even loan you some dining chairs while we are working on yours!
Do you cover leather furniture?
We offer reupholstery for leather furniture, where you can select a fabric from our large range. Tailored removable covers are available however in our experience they will move in situ so would need regular redressing. Please call us for more details.
What styles of furniture do you re-upholster?
Virtually any style of furniture can be re-upholstered, from suites and chairs, to 2 or 3 seater settees. We re-upholster almost all styles of furniture on the market including many styles from Parker Knoll, Multi York, M+S, Sofa Workshop, G Plan, DFS, Christie Tyler + 1,000's of others. When you place your order for we will carefully photograph and measure every detail of your furniture. We then re-upholster your furniture beautifully.

Mr and Mrs Smith came to us with a chaise longue that Mrs. Smith had inherited after her dad passed away.
